Calling all artists to the Water Street District – a home for the arts and artists!!!!

Display your work or open a gallery. Without a doubt, the Water Street District shines brightly throughout Southern Nevada because of its thriving arts community.

As the first to recognize the potential of the Water Street District, the arts community is the foundation on which the Water Street District is built.

Taking a leisurely stroll throughout the Water Street District and you’ll come face-to-face with building-size murals created by internationally famous muralists. If you look carefully at the murals, they speak the history of Water Street. You’ve never had such an interesting history lesson. Then, following the “Art Walk” path you’ll visit numerous galleries featuring an array of local, regional and national artists. With the varying styles and modalities, you’re bound to find something intriguing. Or, you may want to simply enjoy an evening of wine and cheese when our galleries preview new artists. At the Water Street District the arts don’t end at the gallery door; watch for the regionally-recognized art fair ArtFest each Mother’s Day weekend; the performing arts at the Events Plaza, book readings at the library or cozy book stores, and watch for public art to be unveiled in the future.
